Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements, Electrical Construction

PSI Pumping Solutions Inc. recently completed an electrical construction project for the East Pennsboro Township Wastewater Treatment Plant in Enola, PA. The project, which was completed on September 12, 2013, had a contract price of $3,585,000.

The work completed under this project included electrical demolition, installation of all loose panels and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), wiring and coordination of start-up, and integration with the overall plant control system. The team also furnished and installed Hand-Off-Auto (HOA) control panels and switches as necessary to implement the specified control system, as well as provided temporary power and light as required by supporting construction activities.

The project required careful planning and execution to ensure that the electrical systems were installed correctly and integrated seamlessly with the rest of the wastewater treatment plant. The team worked closely with the owner, East Pennsboro Township Board of Commissioners, and the engineer, CET Engineering Services, to ensure that the project was completed on time and within budget.

The successful completion of this project has helped to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring that it can continue to provide high-quality wastewater treatment services to the local community. PSI Pumping Solutions Inc.’s expertise in electrical construction has been instrumental in ensuring that the plant’s electrical systems are functioning at their best.
